One of my favorite fall color images came from a very cold and frosty morning in early November 2013 in Yosemite Valley. I've reprocessed this image with two goals in mind. First, I needed more separation from the colorful grasses in the foreground and a softer and lighter feel from the birch trees in the background. Thanks to my knowledge of the TK9 panel PLEASE CLICK HERE (use me code DS15) I was able to accomplish both goals. If you are interested in learning how I process, please check our my new course containing 46 lessons dedicated to getting the most of your landscape RAW files. Our eyes see the most contrast in elements that are closest too us and less contrast in elements further away. The white mist helped serve as a dividing line to two distinct but connected portions of the scene and aided in pulling the viewer's eye through the composition.
