We had a beautiful warm sky yesterday at sunset here in Morro Bay. This rock is affectionately called "Laughing Man" by the locals and the cormorants were hanging out taking it all in. To freeze the wave I shot with a shutter speed of 1/1250 which required an ISO of 160,000! That's a high as my Sony a7RV will go. Thanks to DxO's Photolab 8's Deep Prime XDXD2s AI model, I was able to eliminate heavy noise while retaining detail in the backlit rock. I'll have a chapter where I compare the top noise reduction programs in my new Video Series - "Landscape Processing Made Easy." We are getting close to the release date and are very excited!!!
