Konjac in False Birds of Paradise, Hilo, Hawaii

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 17 September 2024 in Landscape & Rural.

Colorful Konjac in False Bird of Paradise cups, Hawaii Botanical Gardens, Hilo, Big Island, Hawaii. Konjac, is a perennial plant that is cultivated as food but must be cooked. It is poisonous if eaten raw expecially with younger children. I used my Sony 100-400mm and captured this scene in indirect light. Hope you all have a fantastic week!
