Wildflowers at Dusk, California Superbloom

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 2 May 2023 in Landscape & Rural.

One more image of the superbloom here in Central California from yesterday evening. NOTE: check out how I process my wildflower images here: Processing Stacked Wildflower Image. I love shooting on the edges of the day and for these wildflowers that don't close their petals after the sun goes down it works perfectly as it is generally more calm (thermals have stopped for the day) and you get the beautiful colors of dusk.
