Eastern Sierra Range in Infrared

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 15 September 2022 in Landscape & Rural.

Trying to play a bit of catch-up with my editing this week before leaving for Jackson Hole next week for the Fall in Grand Teton Workshop. Here is a scene of the dramatic Eastern Sierra Range captured in Infrared with my Sony a7III which is converted to capture light in the 720nm range. The beauty of IR is it works best under bright, sunny light which is not good for color.
