Sunset-Lit Sky Over Eastern Sierra Range

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 4 August 2022 in Landscape & Rural.

Every so often God allows me to witness a moment in nature that takes my breath away. I experienced such a feeling yesterday evening in the White Mountains as I looked across the Owen's Valley towards the Eastern Sierra Range. I literally had goose bumps! The tourists had long since left and I had this moment to myself. Needless to say, I smiled and said a prayer all the way back to Bishop - our planet is truly beautiful.
