With most of my long glass in storage because of our upcoming move, I was relegated to my Sony 100-400mm + 2x Teleconverter to photograph the full moonrise at sunset on Thursday evening. This setup in conjunction with the Sony Alpha 1 camera, resulted is an exceptionally sharp capture as the moon began to crest a hill in the Diablo Mountain Range. I was zoomed out to 400mm and with the extender had the pull of 800mm! As you can see, the moon was about to climb into a cloud bank.
NOTE: Beri and I have been working diligently every day for our move and my time to answer your kind comments have been limited. This is coming to an end soon and thanks for all your kind words! I do indeed read every one of the comments and thank you!!!
