Moonset and Mt. Whitney, Eastern Sierra, CA

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 2 March 2021 in Landscape & Rural.

Beri and I left Death Valley and drove to Lone Pine to photograph this moonset at sunrise in the Eastern Sierra from Alabama Hills yesterday morning. Mt. Whitney (the saw-toothed peak to the left) is the highest peak in the contiguous United States at 14,505 feet. It was a beautiful sight to see and photograph! Have a great week everyone!
