With hotels back open in Southern, California, Beri and I made a mad dash down to Joshua Tree National Park via Highway 101 as both Tehachapi Pass and Highway 5 (The Grapevine) were closed due to snow. Made it in time to shoot some sunset images and this image of a moonrise above a Cholla Cactus (pronounced Choy-ya). I then proceeded to drop (and break) my Sony 200-600mm. Ugh!!! Yep - I am Mr. Butterfingers!
