Badwater Moonset at Sunrise, Death Valley NP

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 5 September 2020 in Landscape & Rural.

This morning I have been working on old images from Death Valley NP captured in January 2011 while co-teaching Gary Hart's Workshop (BTW - Gary is still teaching this awesome workshop - check it out). Just by chance, Badwater (the lowest point in the contiguous U.S. at -278.9 below sea level) flooded and allowed for this awesome sunrise light and setting moon to be captured in reflection!
