Little Sur River and Fog Bank, Big Sur Coast

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 14 June 2020 in Landscape & Rural.

I spent a couple days this week driving up and down the Big Sur Coast looking for IR opportunities (check out my new blog with 24 newly captured images PLEASE CLICK HERE). One of the key lessons I learned is that 720nm IR works well with fog as evidenced by this mysterious image of the Little Sur River at the edge of the fog bank.

Sony a6300 (converted to 720nm by LifePixel), Sony 16-35mm, f/8, 1/100th ISO 200 Singh-Ray Neutral Polarizer

SONY ILCE-6300 1/100 second F/8.0 ISO 200 36 mm (35mm equiv.)
