Moonset Over Badwater Basin, Death Valley, CA

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 20 May 2020 in Landscape & Rural.

Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park is the lowest point in North America, with an elevation of 282 ft below sea level. In January 2011 heavy rains turned it into a small lake perfect for reflections such as this setting moon at dawn.
