Out hearts and prayers go out to those hit by the devastating tornado here in Nashville last night. Around 12:30am, a EF2 tornado touched down just over Nissan Stadium (right) and veered NE over downtown Nashville where Beri and I were staying (left of Cumberland River). Came within a half-mile of us in Germantown. Why those people and not us? That's the question we've been asking each other all day. We were on the top floor of an apartment building with essentially a glass roof above us directly across the river from the stadium. Ron Modra and his wife MB live two blocks up from us. We were all extremely lucky.
