Snow Day, Yosemite National Park

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 24 January 2017 in Landscape & Rural.

One of the most beautiful places on earth is Yosemite Valley covered with fresh snow. Yesterday was a winter wonderland! SCARY ADDENDUM: About 10 minutes after capturing this image, a huge tree crashed across Northside Drive 85 feet behind my car as my friends and I were packing our gear - no warning!

So beautiful, Don!! Is this the tree that you and Vern Clevenger were discussing several years ago, regarding the sunrise coming behind it??It was an Autumn Shot I believe....I ALWAYS loved that image..
