Moonset Behind Yuccas, White Sands

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 1 June 2016 in Landscape & Rural.

I was back to editing my White Sands images yesterday. This was one I don't even remember shooting - I love those little gems that pop off the screen at you. This was dawn (I was probably still half asleep) as I paid to have the park opened every morning at 5am for my group. This is a full moon setting behind some fresh yuccas. Hope you can join us in 2017 2017 Full Moon Over White Sands National Monument.
