Fremont Peak Sunset and Wildflowers

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 29 May 2016 in Landscape & Rural.

My wife Beri and I drove up to Fremont Peak yesterday evening to test a couple of lenses. Alas, I left my Metabones converter back in my office - ugh! Oh well, couldn't pass on this spectacular sunset into the fog over the Pacific Ocean as seen from 3,000 feet. Was surprised to find wildflowers still growing! Would love some help in identifying these purple flowers. Please check out my new blog/video on the importance of setting white/black points Improtance of Setting White/Black Points - hope you can check it out!
