This past Monday I drove a long, boring 11 hours from my home in California to Flagstaff, Arizona. My youngest son Aaron was wrapping up the semester at Northern Arizona University and needed help moving all his gear back home for the summer. I timed my trip so I could shoot sunset along the California/Arizona border at Topock. Here is a link to my new blog On The Border :: Topock Gorge where I discuss my tribulations as I went about finding a place to capture this image as the last rays of the setting sun skimmed the horizon.
