Fall Color Dance

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 25 April 2016 in Landscape & Rural.

Motion opportunities present themselves in many different ways. I was photographing fall foliage along one of Yosemite's Bridalveil Falls tributaries when I spotted these maple leaves caught up in an eddy. All I needed was to find a foreground. I lowered my ISO to 50, raised my aperture to f/22, and was able to get a 4 second exposure, which allowed the leaves to paint a beautiful swirl for me! See more of my MOTION images here.
