We finished up Gary Hart's Death Valley Workshop in the Alabama Hills yesterday morning. The winds aloft were creating some very cool cloud formations and I actually did a bit of jogging (first time since the knee replacement) to get this scene captured before the warm light fell off the boulders. I did my global tonal balancing in LR5, then used the Dynamic Contrast filter in onOne Perfect Photo Suite 9 to bring out the detail in the rocks but used the Large slider to fine-tune the cloud. Loving this software! onOne a 30-day free trial and you can save 10% off the purchase price with my code - dsmith - at checkout: onOne Perfect Photo Suite 9
