Pima Point Sunset, Grand Canyon National Park

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 18 August 2014 in Landscape & Rural.

Coming down to the last 24 hours of the second Grand Canyon Monsoon Workshop (Day 11). Lightning is back in the forecast starting this afternoon so fingers crossed! A few evenings back on the south rim, I captured this amazing light show after sunset looking west from Pima Point. The warm reflection cast a glow on the Colorado River some 4,000 feet below, which added a perfect accent to this incredible scene!
