My formula for improving my photographic skills are simple: Study, Apply and Analyze. My new blog Formula TO Improve Your Photography :: Study, Apply and Analyze discusses this concept. The cool part is that it works if faithfully followed. Hopefully it can help you achieve your goals!

I applied this formula to this image that I captured near my home in Hollister, California. I had spotted this collection pond a few days prior and waited for a clearing storm forecast and was on location in the dark waiting for first light!

I gave my Pastor, Father Rudy, a framed print of this image for Christmas, and one morning during mass, he talked about it and recalled how he was driving home from the coast when he saw this sky light up. He felt God was working through me and my camera - I thought that was really cool!
