How many times have you been faced with a scene such as the one above where you are shooting right towards the sun or bright portion of the sky? Obviously your foreground elements are backlit but nonetheless, you would like to reveal their rich detail and color? Your eye can see all of this glorious detail but experience has taught you that your camera will only capture some of the tonality. What do you do?
