@Barbara Kile: Had to get into the water to get this shot Barbara, but the cold was certainly worth the results - standing along the bank was just not cutting it. Hope all is well with you and yours!

I love this composition! The quickly flowing water plays so nicely off the stoic rocks! Great blog-post, too! Every once in a while I get off a lucky shot, but the images I spend some time pre-visualizing and being ready for usually end up working out the best with less hassle and anxiety!

Just marvelous work here, Don! I read your "write- up" on FB and Nature's Best, but did not have a chance at that time to comment (I am sure that just breaks your heart)...I enjoyed reading about your walk with Berri (hope I did not mis-spell her name) while waiting for the boys, and then the various images that you produced as you made the most of the scene and the moment(s)...Beautiful...I like this one so much...the water is flowing like warm pudding thrugh there and it looks delicious - I mean that visually. The "flow" that you have it at here is completely "in step" (kudos to Stevie Ray) with the scene and surroundings, as we see the sun going down, things are mellowing out, calming down....brightening here and darkening there. This is the kind of image that just compels one to stop and look; listen and dream. The double sunset (my words) is phenomenal, You and your wet feet caught all of this at the perfect time but more importantly, your and your artistry conveyed it and treated all of us to the same blissful moment. Thanks Don ....stay well dj

@Elaine Hancock: I have to admit that most of my water images look better if I am actually in the water Elaine. As long as the tripod is steady, it involves the viewer more intimately IMO.
