After a year's worth of planning, writing, and production, I am proud to announce my newest book, Refined Vision - 50 Lessons Designed to Improve Your Digital Landscape Photography. What started as a comprehensive guide to my landscape workshops, has now evolved into a 160-page comprehensive book that deals with both the art and craft of digital landscape photography.

For a quick preview of the book, please click here: Refined Vision - Book Preview.

I have decided to make this book available to anyone who would like to learn more about both the technical and vision side of landscape photography. The book deals with what I feel are the 50 most important aspects of digital landscape photography, from planning, conceptualizing, visualizing, capturing, editing, and printing your landscape images.

Photographers of any level will benefit from this book, which is really a compilation of my 30 years worth of professional experience as both a photographer and a teacher.

The book was designed in Adobe InDesign CS4 software with all images color profiled for the utmost in quality reproduction. I have received my printed copies of the book and I am very pleased with the reproduction. The PDF files were prepared in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 software and will open in full screen mode on any PC or Mac computer or PDF enabled device. The images display beautifully on even the largest of monitors!

I want to give a special thanks to my beautiful wife Beri, and my good friend Tony Khing of the San Jose Sharks for their proofing and editing efforts. Writing and producing a book of this size is no easy task, and their hard work and attention to detail has assisted me greatly!

Refined Vision is available in both beautiful hard and soft cover printed editions, as well as (2) downloadable PDF files. One file allows you to view the book in single-page format (great for reading on smaller devices) and the other allows you to view the book in double-page spread format, as you would a regular printed version. These PDF files download immediately to your computer with secure payments handled by PayPal, the industry leader. So no matter what part of the world you are reading this, with a few simple clicks you can be enjoying this book within minutes!
