A Spring Morning in Cook's Meadow

Posted by
Don Smith (California, United States) on 27 April 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

An early morning sunrise skims across the green grasses and bogs of Cook's Meadow in Yosemite Valley. A lone elm, in the middle stages of its leafing process, stands in the background. This image would not have been possible without the help of Photomatix Pro 3.0, a High Dynamic Range software available for download at Photomatix Pro 3.0. Use my promo code: donsmithphotography at checkout and receive a 15% discount. This image is a composite of five 1-stop bracketed exposures. I had a workshop participant shade the front left side of my lens to prevent flare.
