I have been traveling through parts of France and the UK and am currently in Yorkshire, England. Finally had a chance to download and test the new Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 software yesterday and was immediately impressed with the depth and realism the program produced. This new product could be a game-changer!

This was an image I captured from France's tallest skyscraper near sunset. It is a 5-frame bracketed sequence changing only my shutter by one-stop intervals.

I had pretty much given up on HDR programs but this one has certainly got my attention - highly recommend it.

Saw this on FB, I am blown away that this is HDR! No cartoony look, or overly lightened shadows here! This is stunning, and the fact that it is a photograph falls away and I just imagine I am there myself....

@Curly: We are currently in Ilkley near the Moor Curly. It's beautiful. My wife grew up here and is visiting friends and family this week while the boys and I are dodging raindrops. We did have a nice day yesterday!

I have to agree, Don - this is a pure and majestic piece here. It is a truly refined HDR! The best I have seen yet. This is so clear and concise - yes, concise! Was this the morning after the night before (referring to your absolutely wonderful evening shot from up here)? I really love the reflection of light there in the left hand portion running diagonally - just wonderful all. It has been fun following you on FB BTW..Have fun ..Man I love this!

@James Guillory Photography: We are doing great Jimmy - we all came down with nasty colds but not letting anything stop us. You'd love the scenery here. The boys and I will be at the British Open this Thursday. The course is 68 miles from where we are staying.
