A fog-shrouded evening at Big Sur's Sobranes Point and a placid sea that suddenly turned angry. The juxtaposition between calm and anger created the visual tension I was looking for. I also like adding a splash of color when photographing under mono-toned light and the headlands are alive with spring bloom and colorful ice plant.
