So, we (the Jumps et al) watched our obligatory home screening of "Planes, Trains ..." etc on T'Day with all the gang..Aand your pond here instantly reminds me of Steve Martin's ill-fated attempt to get the bus passengers to sing "Three Coins in a Fountain," only to be saved by the Flintstones theme song, piped by Candy. Now, more to the point of mood and this wonderful composition, the mood I get is Joy! Pure, total Joy. Look at that sun!!...I am floored at how the outside edge of the sun area (not the sun itself, but the bright zone around it) is exactly shaped and positioned into the hook formed by the cypress tree there...How masterful that is, Don!! Good Lord, just a beautiful job, sir!! The smoothness of the water adds an element of bliss and calmness but the pond and it's reflections, and the road and grass leading back out to sea, along with these glorious colours...bring total joy to me. I don't know if that was your feeling, but it is what I get.... Sure hope you guys had a great T'Day...My very best to you all ;-)

@Denny Jump Photo: OK Denny, you are scaring me now - you are seeing elements in my images that I didn't even notice! We did indeed have a fantastic Thanksgiving - 21 total. Would have been more but my oldest sister had back surgery. Thankfully, my wife is a trooper and planned the entire shindig (bet you haven't heard that word in a while). I'm the worker-bee and did chores in between the timeouts of the football games! Today, my youngest son and I will start Christmas decorating (we live on a Clark Griswall street).
