Hi Don - Just had an interesting experience: I read your blog text on my gmail without the benefit of seeing this image....So, for some reason, the lack of an image actually allowed (or encouraged) my imagination to visualize what you were talking about! There I was, stumbling around Fremont Peak with you, trying not to get in your way. I read your commentary about the decisions to use, or not to use, the tilt-shift lens and all the ramifications etc. As fun and easy as it is to read and understand your lessons and text, this just seemed to have an added dollop of joy as my imagination kept pace with the story I was reading. I could identify with the rapid-fire decision making processes because I go through the same thing on mornings when I am driving to work on one of "my" back roads, and I see something I want to capture....it becomnes a "just do it" scenario for me. Then, I opened up AM3 and saw this wonderful image...and everything so beautifully came together in pure, visual terms. There is so much in this image that enlivens the senses. The beautiful "fogtops," that awesome coloration of the rocks, that angelic light through the trees, the Beachboys' "Warmth of The Sun" glow, the golden grasses....(Love that)....just everything here melds so well, not only with the soul. but also, it supports your text as much as your text supports the scene. Another lesson from the master. Sorry, I REALLY used up my allotted time here ;-) Cheers sir...

Oh yeah! I love this place, and this image!....Gotta get up there soon, the light is wonderful, and there is nothing like getting out from under the fog!
