NOTE - THERE HAS BEEN A TREMENDOUS EARLY RESPONSE TO THIS WORKSHOP AND AS OF TODAY (SUNDAY MORNING) I ONLY HAVE 5 SPOTS REMAINING! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS WORKSHOP PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO SIGN UP.
It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce a new workshop to my 2011 lineup: Fall in Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. This is a workshop I have been wanting to add for the past two years and now it is finally a reality!
We will start the workshop in Bryce Canyon with two sunset and two sunrise location shoots (plus secondary locations) above and below the rim of the Bryce Amphitheater. The incredible hoodoo formations will amaze your senses. Eons of wind, rain, and ice have formed these incredible giant spires of various orange, red and white colors. We will photograph them from various iconic overlooks as well as walk down through these formations to the bottom of the canyon! You will be overwhelmed at the size of these incredible sandstone structures.
The workshop will then caravan two hours southwest to Zion National Park where the cottonwoods, aspens, and maples should be displaying their rich yellow and red fall color! Zion Canyon alone is enough to make this trip complete but we will also venture to Kolob Canyon and the famed Checkerboard Mesa area near the east entrance of the Park.
I expect this workshop will fill up soon so don't delay. For more information and to reserve your spot, please click on either of the two links above.
The accompanying image is from Zion Canyon displaying first light on the famed Court of the Patriarchs with the north fork of the Virgin River serving as a foreground. I will encourage my participants to actually wade into the river for some unique images (hey its fall and the water levels are low and not all that cold).
This should be an amazing workshop offering a plethora of one-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities. Along with the location shoots, I will also hold daily classes dealing with RAW and Photoshop workflow as well as have two image review sessions.
I will be joined in this workshop by the incredibly talented Scott Schilling who posts regularly here on Aminus3. Scott has a very intuitive eye for creative compositions and will gladly share his wealth of knowledge.
Don't delay as there are only 12 spots available; reserve your spot today so you don't miss out on what will certainly be an incredible workshop experience!
