That sky actually began as crimsom red, but then quickly faded, I thought my opportunity was gone, 10 minutes later it came roaring back - I really couldn't tell you why! I was out on a shoot at sunset yesterday and could have used this sky.

@Matthew: Hi Matthew, thanks for joining in on my blog. Thanks for your vote of optimism, but I really am not a fan of competitions - in fact, I tend to steer away from them. I shoot images that move me, always have, always will. I have had other pros tell me to shoot certain images because they will sell for stock - I just can't bring myself to do it. I firmly believe after 30 years of being a photographer, that if what you have composed in your viewfinder doesn't stir your emotions, chances are, it will not stir your viewer's emotions. Where would the connection be? Bottom line, stay truthfull to your own vision and not someone else's. I hope to hear from you again.
