Bowling Ball Beach

Posted by Don Smith (California, United States) on 28 July 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

A low tide near sunset reveals this odd collection of bowling ball shaped rocks clustered near a secluded beach along the Mendocino coast south of Point Arena, California. I was hoping for a negative tide but will have to return in the fall/winter months for that to happen.
