Nature's WaterwheelPosted by Don Smith (California, United States) on 12 July 2008 in Landscape & Rural. Here is one more image from Yosemite's Waterwheel Falls. The Singh-Ray Variable Neutral Density Filter is worth its weight in gold in situations such as this. By dialing in more neutral density, I was able to get a slower shutter (1 second for this image) which allowed me to capture the beauty and power of the Tuolumne River creating the waterwheel effects.
