A Late Spring Afternoon Near Bixby Bridge

Late afternoon sunlight brings out the color in the flowering iceplant near Big Sur's famed Bixby Bridge. I shot this image with a workshop participant during a day-long private lesson along this beautiful strectch of coastline on a rare windless day. The design of the single-span bridge has drawn the attention of photographers world-wide.
