The warm hues of dawn's twilight wedge sits over the Pt. Sur Lighthouse along the Big Sur coast in California. I added these spring wildflowers as a foreground element as the gusty predawn winds almost magically subsided. I used a Singh-Ray 3-stop soft edge split neutral density filter to balance the sky with the foreground. Hi Alex,
Thanks for your comments. This is really one of the few good morning locations in Big Sur. Because of the way the Santa Lucia's lay out (north ot south), Big Sur is more of a sunset location. I'm lucky in that I live less than an hour away.

Hi DarkElf,
This light was very fleeting. It slamon hues of the twilight wedge lasted only a couple of minutes. It's funny you used the word "mystic," that is how many locals would describe Big Sur.
