Here is the more traditional composition of Horsetail Falls with its awesome red glow. I posted a horizontal shot on Sunday's blog and on my website under "Recent Images." Would like to know which composition you like best? I call it the 10 levels of Horsetail. This is the first time I have ever witnessed level 10 light. This eerie red glow appeared after sunset. I liked how a gust of wind caught the bottom of the falls! This image was captured 3:45 minutes after the posted sunset time of 5:40pm. http://donsmithphotography.com
I have to say that this composition impressively shows off the spray at the bottom – which is incredible, but the horizontal composition is more appealing to me because it gives greater perspective of the falls in relation to its magnificent surroundings. I'm absolutely in awe of the beauty you've captured here.

Thanks Ron - The capture part was easy, it's getting lucky enough to see this vivid light that is the hard part; after 5 years, I finally got lucky enough to witness it!
